This creamy, lather-free formula removes only what’s necessary and preserves the natural softness of your curls. Perfect for use between washes to keep curls, waves, and coils fresh, soft, and nourished. At the same time, selected botanical ingredients support a healthy scalp and strong, vibrant curls from root to tip.

- Coconut oil and coconut extract provide intense moisture, smooth the curl structure, and leave hair feeling soft and supple.
- Castor oil strengthens the hair roots, promotes volume, and supports scalp health.
- Mandarin has a clarifying and refreshing effect and gives your hair a new shine.
- Green tea and phytosterols soothe the scalp, protect it from environmental stressors, and help maintain its natural balance.
Together, these ingredients provide a gentle yet effective cleanse that leaves curls soft, makes detangling easier, and locks in moisture—until the next wash.
Usage: Thoroughly wet your curls. Squeeze a generous amount of CoWash into your palms and distribute it evenly throughout your curls. Gently massage your scalp with your fingertips, just as you would with a regular shampoo. Then carefully detangle your curls with a wide-tooth comb. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary, especially if you’ve used a lot of styling products. Follow up with a moisturizing treatment, such as As I Am’s Hydration Elation Conditioner or Leave-In Conditioner.
