It’s great to have you here. My journey to embracing my natural curls is similar to that of many women with Afro hair. In my home country, women with natural curls were considered “poor” because of the prevailing belief that only straightened hair was beautiful. It wasn’t until many years later, far from my homeland, that I made the decision—which felt radical to me—to wear my curls in their natural beauty. It was a journey of self-acceptance and love for my natural hair.
Today, I have a different relationship with my hair; taking care of it has become a ritual for me, my own special time. Over the years, I’ve started looking for organic products that are just as natural as my hair is now.
Warm regards
