Hello dear curly heads,
Today I would like to share another DIY recipe with you, especially for scalp care.
Particularly in the cold winter months, the scalp is subjected to a lot of stress due to the alternating cold outside and heat inside. This often leads to dryness and the formation of dandruff. I always think of it like flowers - my curls need a healthy soil in order to grow optimally. For this nourishing mask you need:
Quantities for a medium-length Lockenkopf:
(2 tablespoons each, ginger approx. 3 cm piece)
- Molasses
- Honey
- An oil of your choice (e.g. argan oil or jojoba oil)
- Hair mask (one that you prefer at the moment)
- Peeled ginger
It is best to press the ginger into a cup or bowl using a garlic press and pass through a sieve. Then mix the remaining ingredients well and gently massage the mask into your scalp. If there is any left over, you can also apply it to your curls, as all the ingredients are also very nourishing for the curls.
Leave the mask on for around 30 minutes to an hour. Then wash out thoroughly and finish with a conditioner.
I hope this recipe gets you through the winter well! 🌿
Best regards,
Rosa Maria
