Usage:

Shampoo:
Use shampoo as often as necessary, but as infrequently as possible. The recommended frequency is about 2 to 6 times a month, but everyone’s hair is different: find the routine that works best for your hair.
If you tend to want to use shampoo more often, focus mainly on the scalp and the hair roots. This helps clean the roots and remove sebum without drying out the ends (the oldest hair) too much. 

Conditioner:
Conditioner is undoubtedly the most important product in the shower. It seals the hair cuticles while locking moisture into the hair. This makes it easier to detangle your curls. In fact, it’s the tangled cuticles that can make detangling curls so unpleasant.
On days when you don’t wash your curls with shampoo, use only conditioner to rinse your hair. So, wash them with water, apply the conditioner with your fingers, then detangle your curls and rinse them. 

As a general rule, you should always finish your shower with conditioner!  

Despite all its benefits, you should never apply conditioner (or styling products) to your scalp, because the effect it has on your hair—sealing the cuticles to make detangling easier and help retain moisture—is actually undesirable for your scalp! Again, conditioner would close the pores of the skin, which can lead to itching, dandruff, or excess sebum on the scalp. 

Leave-in conditioner:
The leave-in conditioner helps define your curls while moisturizing your hair. Apply the leave-in conditioner to your curls after towel-drying or while they’re still damp. To do this, rub a small amount between your palms and work it through your hair with your fingers; if needed, you can then comb through your curls again. Finally, scrunch (except for Afro hair). Scrunching helps your curls take on an even more beautiful shape.
To give your curls more life and bounce, start applying styling products about a hand’s width away from the roots. This is especially true for fine, wavy, and curly hair: this keeps the curls lighter. 

Mousse This mousse helps set your curls, which have already been defined by the leave-in conditioner. Rub the mousse between your palms, then work it into your curls with your fingers, and finish by scrunching them again.
