Specific ingredients and their effects:

• Shea butter and sweet almond oil: smooths curls and adds softness and shine.
• Hydrolyzed soy and wheat proteins: strengthen the structure of curls and make them more resilient.
• Lotus flower and burdock root extract: soothe the scalp and restore its balance.

Application: After washing, apply a small amount of lotion—about the size of a pea—to your still-damp curls. Work the lotion evenly through your curly hair, preferably with your hands or using the "Praying Hands" technique. Once the curls feel slightly “slippery” to the touch, you’ve applied the right amount. Then, gently comb through the curls from bottom to top to enhance their natural shape. Then, either let it air dry or dry it using a diffuser on a low setting. As soon as the curls are completely dry, break up the cast that has formed by gently scrunching again—this is how defined, soft, and bouncy curls look their best.
