Use the gel or mousse to set the curls defined by the leave-in conditioner. Rub the gel into the palm of your hand and comb through your curls with your fingers, then scrunch them again.
The choice between gel and mousse depends on personal preference; mousse gives you more volume but less hold, while gel usually provides better hold.
